Stove Sweep and Services
Standard Sweep (wood/multi-fuel stove)
Power sweep as standard unless a traditional sweep is requested. Smoke draw test included plus all rope/seals will be checked as a matter of health and safety*. £60
(If stove is unlined then an additional £10 will be added to original price)
Sweep and Service (wood/multi-fuel stove)

Stove door seal/rope replacement
I carry a range of standard rope sizes from 6mm to 15mm with me at all times so am able to carry out rope replacements if needed to ensure your stove is operating as safely and efficiently as possible.
£5 per metre (rounded up) for standard sized ropes
£10 for rope seal installation
The price for stoves needing special rope/seals will depend on the cost at purchase.
Stove perishables/parts replacements
If replacement parts are needed for your stove for example firebricks, top plate, glass etc. please contact to enquire about prices.
Open Fire Sweeps
Sweep (Standard open fire)
Power sweep as standard unless a traditional sweep is requested. Smoke draw test included £70
Sweep (Large/Medium open fire)
Power sweep as standard unless a traditional sweep is requested. £85 For larger inglenook fireplaces please contact to enquire about price.
All Other Services
Camera Inspection
£85 (on top of regular sweeping charge.)
With an internal camera inspection you can check for potential hidden problems, such as tar build ups, holes/damage to your liner, potential smoke leakages etc. This service may be essential for some households to conform with their insurance policy.
A written report detailing the finding per metre and a HD recording of the inspection can be sent to you for an additional £25
Birdguard Cowl/C-Cap installation
Installing a birdguard chimney pot cowl on your chimney keeps birds out and prevents nesting, without impacting the performance and safety of your fire. For unused chimneys a C-Cap can be used to block off the chimney to stop heat loss from the property while allowing for sufficient airflow to prevent moisture. £150
(Cowls/C-Caps can be ordered in different colours to suit the property.)
Nest removal
£70 for an hours appointment slot, thereafter £10 per 10 minutes.‡ (on top of regular sweeping charge.)
Carbon Monoxide Alarms
Fireangel carbon monoxide alarm with a 10 year built in battery available upon request £30
Callout/Vermin removal
removal of birds, squirrels and other vermin. callout for inspection or for maintenance £30
Please do not light your stove/fire for at least 24 hours prior to my visit.
*Cost of rope is not included in price of sweep.
†Hearth seal is subject to hearth materiel.
‡Nest removal is subject to breeding season restrictions.
